Works, good enough for the price.
For the price this is as good as it gets, I tested this thing twice on my 1998 Oldsmobile Aurora. It more than paid for itself when I used this thing for an engine swap and when I needed it to support the 4.0 V8 Northstar+ Trans-axle when I had to replace my sub-frame/cross-member/engine cradle.. If I got this thing to work on my car (see pic) you can most likely use this thing on anything.

4.0 out of 5 stars So close to being great
Reviewed in Canada on February 7, 2024
When I ordered the bar, my worry was how strong the rails would be since it is hard to judge from just a photo. I was happy to find out that the steel is quite thick and will have no problem supporting my engine while I swap out mounts.
There are three minor problems that I found.
1. Two of the holes in the middle support arm were not completely punched out. I can easily finish punching them out but it will mean he unpainted area will be prone to rust.
2. The supplied hardware doesn't match with the instructions. A nyloc nut is included but is not referenced. There are also more washers supplied than referenced. I'm sure I can figure out something.
3. Both of the supplied bolt lengths match the description in the past list but both are too short in my opinion. An extra 10mm on both would make it easier to assemble and be stronger. A trip to he hardware store should remedy this.
Note: I got a nice discount on this one since I was marked as an opened box with small cosmetic damage and missing packaging. What I got looked perfect with the exception of a slightly worn cardboard box.

Hook bent on first use. Luckily my hand wasn't under the engine when it dropped.
